Prof. Akeem Bolaji WAHAB is a Full Professor of Building with specialties in built environment sustainability, digital and smart construction, innovative and sustainable performance and delivery of building and infrastructural projects. He had Bachelor of Science Degree in Building, Master of Science Degree in Environmental Control and Management, Master of Science Degree in Building Services and also obtained Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Building Services from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a Registered Builder with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON). He is a Fellow of The Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), a Fellow, Institute of Policy Management Development, and a Member, Green Building Council of Nigeria.

He had served in the capacity of the Acting Head of the Department of Building. He has served on the Editorial Board of Journals within and outside the country and has over forty publications. He had served as the Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Building, Oyo State Chapter; and as the General Secretary, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch. He has served as an External Examiner of undergraduate and postgraduate examinations within and outside the country. He has served on the committees set up by professional bodies and governmental formations on built environment reforms. Prof. Wahab has been involved in the curriculum development of building education programme in the country, and as a resource person at both academic and professional fora on issues that affect sustainability and performance of construction industry in the country.
