MR. MOSES ADEYEMI

Lecturer II

Mr. Moses Adeyemi is a Lecturer II in the Department of Building, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is an experienced academic and built-environment professional with strong competence in building production, facilities management, and building maintenance management.

Within the Department and the University, Mr. Adeyemi serves in several strategic academic and administrative capacities. He is the Departmental Examination and Results Processing Officer, and a Part Adviser to undergraduate students. He is also a member of the Faculty of Environmental Design and Management (EDM) Collaborative Project Committee, where he contributes to interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning initiatives.

Professionally, Mr. Adeyemi is a Registered Builder and a Facility and Building Maintenance Management Officer, with practical expertise in the planning, coordination, and implementation of maintenance strategies for religious and institutional buildings. He is a member of the University’s Facilities Integrity Committee, where he participates in assessing the condition, safety, and performance of university buildings and infrastructure.

In addition, he serves as the Head of the Laboratory and Workshop Unit in the Department of Building, overseeing the management, operation, and effective utilization of laboratory and workshop facilities for teaching, research, and practical training.

Mr. Adeyemi’s academic and professional activities reflect a strong commitment to quality assurance in teaching, infrastructure sustainability, and the effective management of the built environment within the university system.
